Gas Treating Facility
A Gas treating facility located in New Mexico, USA with a capacity of treating 220 MMscfd of Natural Gas. Natural gas received from the field is treated to remove Acid Gas (CO2 and H2S) and water. The treated gas is compressed and sent off site via pipeline. The plant consists of a Sweet Gas compression unit, Inlet Gas Compression unit, Amine unit, TEG Dehydration unit, Acid Gas flare and Acid Gas injection unit and a Hot oil unit to name just a few.
-
Proprietary Oil Sands Processing Facility
A proprietary Oil Sands processing facility located in USA with a capacity of 875 TPD of Oil Sands. The facility is designed to produce efficient, Low carbon asphalt and marine fuels without waste or water consumption. The design will process crushed oil sands in a closed loop process. There ore will be mixed with a solvent in a continuous feed process. The sand will then be separated and dried with the vapours recovered and sent to storage for sale or reuse.

Vapor Body
This was a complex job involving Structural, FEA, Mechanical and Drafting for this large and complex pressure vessel.
Vapor body (vessel) is designed per ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1, Edition 2023.The vessel is of very large diameter of 32 ft, with an overall height of 50 ft and also connected to large piping nozzles making the full assembly height of 76 ft.
-
Distillation Tower
This was executed on an extremely tight schedule as it was an emergency replacement and not a planned one.
Our scope included drawing preparation and FEA analysis of the tower in transportation condition. In transportation condition both Barge (3 saddles) and Truck (2 saddles) modes were analyzed as both modes would be used in the transportation.
-
Waste Heat Boiler
This project scope included Mechanical design, FEA of Flexible tubesheet and Piping Flexibility of the Riser Down comer piping.
Mechanical design consisting of calculations to ASME Section I and ASME Section VIII Div 1, FEA of thin tubesheets which are refractory lined to protect the same from the very high operating temperatures and Piping flexibility analysis of Riser Downcomer piping between the Process gas coolers and the Steam drum which mounted on the coolers in piggy back fashion. The complete assembly is supported on multiple saddles.

Vertical Thermosyphon Reboiler Supporting Arrangement
This was a complex job involving problems with Piping flexibility analysis.
A vertical heat exchanger functioning as thermosyphon reboiler with the tube side nozzles connected to the adjacent Amine column. Tube side inlet nozzle of size 16” NB at the bottom and tube side outlet nozzle of 36” NB at the top.
