Our Story: How We Came To Be
New Horizons was founded with one clear vision in mind: delivering reliable engineering services to North American owner companies, EPCs and manufacturers. We sought to remove the cultural friction of working with overseas solutions from the equation.
From the very beginning, we kept our eyes trained on serving North American clients seeking engineering solutions with North American standards. Today, practically all of our revenue comes from North America, supporting projects all over the country in Houston, Cincinnati, New Orleans, Oklahoma, Calgary, and beyond. Our continued growth reflects the trust we earn from our partnerships and the relationships we nourish and protect.

Gagandeep Singh
Founder and President
He is the Founder of New Horizons. He has over 36 years of industry experience spread across manufacturing and engineering consultancy. Has ample working experience in North America, Europe and Asia including India. Fully understands what drives the cultural sensitivities of client and suppliers in these regions. He values integrity, safety, quality and transparency in communication with unwavering focus on training and knowledge sharing.

Yogananda N.S.
Engineering Manager
Joined the New Horizons team in 2024. A professional with more than 35 years of experience. Started as a design engineer with a major tank fabricator designing fixed and floating roof tanks. Rose up the ranks to the position of Project manager in a Japanese owned EPC to manage a project for a petrochemical plant in India. He is very articulate in communication and has a very good knowledge of almost all kinds of static equipment. Has ample experience of working on projects in North America, Japan, Europe and India.

Danish Shaikh
Senior Mechanical Engineer
A design engineer with a Masters degree in Machine design and a total of 8 years of experience in performing and reviewing designs of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, API tanks for the oil and gas industry in accordance with ASME Sec VIII Div 1. Exposure to Finite Element Analysis and a very good understanding of the code. Project estimation and preparation of technical proposals. Performing vendor document review for various static equipment.

Civil Structural Engineer
A structural engineering professional with over 12 years of experience in structural analysis, design, detailing in oil and gas, refinery and industrial projects. Combining his design expertise, detailing experience he brings a practical approach to delivering safe, efficient and constructible structural engineering solutions.

Sridhar Rampelli
FEA Engineer
An engineer specializing in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) having a Master’s degree in Machine Design. A total of 5 years of hands-on experience on Ansys workbench, SolidWorks modeling, simulation and analysis. He also has enough exposure to rule-based design methods using COMPRESS, NozzlePro and Mathcad.

Prasad Vaity
Design Supervisor
He has a varied experience totalling 28 years. His wide-ranging experience includes preparation and checking of fabrication drawings of structures, static equipment, piping and equipment layout. Modeling of equipment, piping and structures. Manages and forecasts he manpower requirements, preparing productivity reports technical training of team members. Supervision of the entire designer team to achieve set goals. Prepare and review budget estimates for new projects.

Rohan Bandre
Principal Project Designer
He has a varied experience totalling 19 years. Proficient in 3D modeling using CADWORKS, Autodesk Plant 3D, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks etc for structures, static equipment, piping etc. Highly experienced in preparation and checking of fabrication drawings for all kinds of static equipment. He is a very good communicator and planner. He has been stationed in the USA on multiple occasions to discharge project responsibilities. Has some limited exposure to offshore related work as well.

Nilesh Sarkale
Principal Project Designer
He has a varied experience totalling 19 years. Proficient in 3D modeling using CADWORKS, Autodesk Plant 3D, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks etc for structures, static equipment, piping etc. Preparation and checking of fabrication drawings for all kinds of static equipment. He is a good communicator and planner. He has been stationed in the USA on multiple occasions to discharge project responsibilities. He also doubles up as the go to inhouse person for IT related issues. Experienced in handling skids and has a good mix of piping and structural knowledge.

Principal Project Designer
He has a varied experience totalling 11 years. Proficient in 3D modeling using CADWORKS, Autodesk Plant 3D, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks etc for structures, static equipment, piping etc. Preparation and checking of fabrication drawings for all kinds of static equipment. Very good expeditor to get the work assigned to him done within schedule. He has been stationed in the USA on multiple occasions to discharge project responsibilities. Completing his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering soon.

Principal Project Designer
He has a varied experience totalling 15 years. Proficient in 3D modeling using CADWORKS, Autodesk Plant 3D, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks etc for structures, static equipment, piping etc. Preparation and checking of fabrication drawings for all kinds of static equipment. Very thorough in his work and come up with innovative solutions to problems. Experienced in handling skids and has a good mix of piping and structural knowledge. Completing his second Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering soon.
